Wonderful old historic hotel that has great charm and character. A landmark in the Pocono mountains. Great for families with kids! Lots to do. Great restaurants beautiful scenery and nice staff.
I was just up there today they have a beautiful gingerbread house, the hotel is stunning as always and the staff exceptional, and the picture perfect views were breath taking. There was a wine tasting and the young lady serving the wine and when asked by my girlfriend was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine and it's parings which was a very pleasant highlight of our visit.
Very calm and beautiful place. Great for a get away or to be with family and friends. Staff is highly professional. The rooms have amazingly comfortable beds and is clean with great views. The air is crisp and you feel like you are in a different time zone. I love this place.
Historic up scale lodge in Poconos. This place is nice but everything around this place is typical Poconos. The evening dining was very good but breakfast was 1 star. Breakfast should be included with the high cost of this place and there should be better options. Too many families with kids for my wife and I but we still liked it. Must be better on a weekday during the school season.
The Best of the Best. All four seasons there is so much to do, get the full American Plan and have so much included. The food the activities and the staff are top notch. As this is a very old hotel they also take much time to renovate it while keeping the old world charm the same. Highly recommended!
